Pepperoni Crisps


Active Time: 2 minutes

Total Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:

  • One bag of pepperoni slices (good quality pepperoni such as Boarshead brand will be carb free and gluten free)

Process:

  1. Spread individual slices in a single layer in the basket.
  2. Place into air fryer and press the “bacon” button.
  3. Starting with 5 minutes remaining, check crisps for doneness each minute. Slices are ready when they become dark brown. It’s important to check often as crisps can move from dark brown to burnt very quickly.
  4. Remove to paper towels to catch excess oil as crisps cool.

Slices will still be soft when removing from basket. They will crisp up as they cool.

Tip: The richness of these crisps makes them a great choice when counting calories. A few crisps is all it takes to enjoy a tasty snack and feel satisfied.
