Ingredients:
- ½ lb. Padron Peppers (see note)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Sea Salt
Process:
- Rinse peppers and dry completely.
- Toss with olive oil and place into air fryer basket.
- Turn air fryer on, press “vegetables” and press start.
- After four minutes, begin removing basket each minute, and tossing to help cook all sides of each pepper.
- When all peppers have begun to shrink and some have begun to brown, remove to a plate and sprinkle with sea salt.
Eat immediately and be warned that while Padron’s are mild, about now in ten is very spicy.
NOTE: Fresh Padron peppers are easy to order from Spanish food websites such as Tienda Padron Peppers. As an option, Shishito peppers can be substituted.
